Welcome! WJA's Mentor Match Program reflects our commitment to you and your professional development. This unique online tool helps you find, connect, and share experiences with others, while empowering you to grow professionally with confidence.

WJA offers a robust network of mentors who bring years of experience and knowledge about the industry to our community. Your mentor or mentee can be in the same city or on the other side of the world. No matter where they are - our hope is that the experience will leave you motivated and ready to bring your career to the next level.

You can apply to our Mentor Match Program in four easy steps:

Complete a mentor profile and/or mentee profile.

Make sure to include:

  • Updated contact info
  • A profile picture
  • Bio information (education, job history, etc.)

Having a complete and accurate profile is crucial to the sucess of selection and matching.

Click on the appropriate badge below to enroll as a Mentor and/or Mentee. Be sure to select demographic information, including your start date, so you'll show up in Mentor Match searches.

    wja_3_3_3.png     SEARCH FOR A MENTOR OR MENTEE

    Look for a Mentor or Mentee in our Mentor Match Database.

    Search criteria include:

    • Years of Experience
    • Preferred Communication Methods
    • Industry Sector
    • Skills/Areas of Expertise
    • Location (optional)

    If you're unsure of the search criteria, select "Search for ALL of the selected values". The Mentor Match Program will do the work for you and populate the results.

    After completing the steps above:

    • Review the list of potential matches
    • Click on the member's name that you're interested in establishing a mentorship connection with
    • Go to their profile and review
    • If it's a desired match, click on the button beneath their picture to request them as a Mentor or Mentee
    • If it's not a desired match, click on the back button to return to your previous search results

    Disclaimer: By participating in WJA's Mentor Match program, both mentors and mentees are expected to adhere to WJA's Mentorship Guidelines. This is strictly an educational program meant for asking questions, sharing experiences, and transferring skillsets. It is not designed to be an interview for a job, to receive free services from a consultant, or to promote or advertise consulting services. WJA reserves the right to suspend any mentor/mentee relationship and to remove participants from the Mentor Match database as necessary.
