While in this industry I have had the opportunity to grow and expand my love of this business by being involved with Four Grainer LLC, home of "Inside the Jewelry Trade" Radio Show Podcast. Our coverage of all aspects of the jewelry industry has given us access to industry analysts, retailers, veteran and emerging designers, responsible sourcing advocates, gem hunters, trade organizations and the list goes on. Our desire is to use our podcast platform to help educate, empower, advocate for and improve the jewelry industry as a whole.

As Director of Operations for an independent brick & mortar jewelry store, I coordinate, streamline and manage all aspects of merchandising and marketing. I use strategic planning for purchasing to achieve an optimal product assortment that meets not just our high-quality standards but the unique desires of our clients. I strive to maximize sales and results by monitoring inventory levels, optimizing our profit and customizing our product mix to the greatest advantage.
With a head for numbers, a heart for my team and a passion for style I have been able to blend my analytic side with my creative side. Jewelry is a personal extension and expression of who we are. It is purchased, given, worn and shared with emotion. Using a combination of intelligence and zeal I make decisions based not only on the look and feel of the jewelry but also on the financial impact it will have on our store.
I have fostered an understanding of our local market by constant interaction with our team and clients. I am continually collaborating with designers, researching prospective new lines and evaluating our current position to ensure that we as a store are relevant, properly equipped and meeting the needs of our people. By implementing a community outreach program, developed by Four Grainer LLC, we have increased traffic to our store organically and broadened the reach of our influence and presence in our community.
What you do should be a reflection of who you are. I enjoy personalized fashion and all the elements that come together for a completed look. I love that my job enlarges the scope of that innate drive. I take great pride in what I do, whom I do it with and whom I do it for.
