Bio

Post college, where I got a BA in art and art history, I went to grad school at Carnegie Mellon University where I received my MFA in Costume Design. And following that, I launched my career as a costume designer and wardrobe stylist for theater, TV and film.

After years of creating clothes for commercials, television shows, and independent movies, and creating within the "box" - I felt I wanted to see whether I had something to say that came from my heart. I always wanted to further explore silver-smithing and jewelry making - but my college art program did not offer classes. Lucky for me there was Decordova Museum School and then, Metalwerx. I started learning and loving this medium.
In 2006 I designed my last indie movie and focused my life on jewelry. It continues to be a wild ride.
