I am Ana Rueda, founder of Anavir, Jersey-based artist crafting contemporary sculptural adornment objects in silver and gold which explore the elegance of movement in nature. My pieces aim to empower the wearer to not conform in expression of Self, and celebrate their individualism.
My architectural training influences the exploration of structures in nature and architecture whether working at a macro or micro level of space, volume, and texture.
Each object is carefully studied via paper maquettes, modeling clay, and finally in wax before it goes into casting. This gives the ability to customize the products per the individual’s needs. The pieces are handcrafted through the lost-wax process, and via 3D at my home studio
